How to apply

The PhD Colloquium invites PhD students who can demonstrate that they are in an advanced stage of their research (e.g. in their second year or above) with interests in technology, management, strategy and innovation. Please note that 1st year PhD students are also eligible to apply, but priority will be given to PhD students that already have some research experience.

PhD students interested to attend the PhD Colloquium need to select the option "PhD Colloquium and Academic Paper" on the online submission system, together with the following documents:

  • An up-to-date CV
  • Motivation letter
  • Reference letter from your PhD supervisor
  • An extended abstract for a paper to the R&D Management Conference


Admission to the PhD Colloquium is dependent on the positive evaluation by the organising committee as well as acceptance of the submitted abstract to be presented at the conference. The number of participants is limited to 30. Those who have been accepted will also be required to bring a poster to the event in order to be able to participate in the colloquium.
