Open strategy beyond innovative firms

Open innovation has expanded its applicability to beyond innovative firms and has offered valuable insights to various organizations, such as start-ups, low-tech firms, non-profit organization and even government agencies. Openness may allow these types of organizations, which might have been slightly off-centered in innovation, to establish or revitalize their innovation capabilities and help them to achieve new breakthroughs. This session invites academic papers and industry/government experiences showing success or failure cases of their open innovation journeys. This session is open for academic researcher, industrial managers and policy makers and encourages empirical research and case studies.
