Organizing and coordinating multi-party collaborative innovation

Organizing and coordinating multi-party collaborative innovation

Kati Jarvi, Hanken School of Economics

Organizations collaborate in innovation ecosystems, innovation networks and other multi-party arrangements. These collaborative arrangements vary in their duration and formalization and sometimes the originally temporary systems are turned into permanent organizations with elements of organization such as membership, rules, and hierarchy. This session focuses on these organizations of organizations or meta-organizations in innovation and seeks for submissions that bridge literatures on collaborative innovation and organizing/coordination.
